This will be my son’s second year and my daughter’s first year at Baby Steps. We are beyond grateful to have our children at this program. They offer wonderful care, lesson plans, activities, and the teachers and staff are just amazing at what they do. My kids love it there, and they have learned so much! I highly recommend this daycare!

My daughter has been in this school for over two years. She is attending pre-k here now. She loves her teachers, her friends here. The children are not inside the classroom all day. Teachers will bring them outside to the neighborhood to learn and see when the weather is good. They also have play ground time if weather permitted. We would like our second child to go here too.

Baby steps is truly and amazing place for early childhood learning. My daughter has been at baby steps for two years and now enrolled in Pre-K there. I could not be more pleased with the teachers and director. My daughter was very shy and and lacked confidence in herself and the teachers at Baby was able to change that. She has blossomed into an independent, confident, smart and well mannered individual. The Director always answers her phone, and email promptly. All questions and concerns are handled immediately. Its the best decision I could of ever made for my daughter. Just one visit, meeting the director and teachers you would be pleased. Highly recommended!

We are very thankful to be able to come to a place like Baby Steps Daycare to share an amazing birthday! All of the children were well-behaved and the staff proved they were attentive, ready and able to deal with anything that came alone. The playground was clean and everyone had a great time. My daughter has been going here since the beginning and she loves it. The teachers are so loving and knowledgeable. My daughter leaned so much in the year and half she has been going. The center is clean and the director is great, always there to answer any questions or concerns. Every month there is some great new activity or trip that my daughter loves. Highly recommend this pre school.

Our son, Mikey Lobaccaro has been a student at Baby Steps Daycare / Preschool I since it opened in mid-August, 2012. Since then he has learned a plethora of information which I know he learned at Baby Steps Daycare / Preschool I. The other night I was giving him a bath and he told me, “Mama, there are 26 letters in the alphabet.” I never taught him that so I know he learned it at Babysteps. He also knows most of his shapes, colors and can count to 60. He also told me the days of the week the other day. He is also learning to share and play nicely with others. Since he is an only child it is challenging for us as parents to teach him this at home. However, he really enjoys playing with other children and tells me about all the fun he had at school when he gets home. Mikey also enjoys the zumba class on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Miss. Julie and the other teachers work well with all the students and the crafts that Mikey comes home with are adorable and remain up on our refrigerator. I highly recommend Baby Steps Daycare / Preschool I to all parents who have children between the ages of 2 and 6.​

Baby Steps Preschool is a wonderful place! The Owner Julia Malayeva is doing a great job as the educational and administrative director. She always replies my emails very quick. And answers all my concerns. She offers great extra-curriculum activities at Baby Steps such as: Music, American sign language, Zumba, Soccer, Spanish language,…

Also, I would like to salute Julia for picking the best and kindest teachers to nurture our kids.

Julissa is a wonderful afterschool teacher, my daughter loves her. Ms. Julissa is very caring teacher and always smiling.

Also Mrs. Bianca and Ms. Sandi. They are great teachers! My daughter loves them a lot. She enjoys her time at Baby Steps and I can feel the good effect all of the teachers have on my daughter. They nurture her, care for her and teach her. My daughter is excited to go to Baby Steps every time. We are very content and happy to find Baby Steps.

My son’s been at Baby Steps Daycare / Preschool I with Julia for almost 6 months. When I first send him, I was a bit skeptical first. Before Baby Steps Daycare / Preschool I, I used to send him to Angles in the Garden Private Nursery. I must say Baby Steps Daycare / Preschool I has great activity for Children. My son has been develop physical fitness & Good education training. Friendly environment, full of energetic. If you are a full time working parents, the place is the best for the kid. I love it. Julia is a great. She is professionally handling to all kids and give individual attention. She communicate with us through emails. We get to see the kids activities pics.

We sent our daughter there for Pre-K from 2016 to 2017 and we couldn’t have been happier with the progress she made. She loved her teachers, her class-mates, and the myriad of activities they had carefully selected for them to keep them engaged. They were always available for advice and always honest with our child’s evaluation, which was of tremendous help. Our daughter is thriving in Kindergarten at the local public school and we have no doubt Baby Steps had a tremendous impact on her preparation both in the academic and social aspects of school life. We have so much faith in Baby Steps that her baby brother will be attending later this year. Like our daughter was, I know he will be in great hands.

Thank you for having us/Anna at Baby Steps. She has learned so much and all the teachers she’s had (Ms.Olivia, Ms.M, and Ms.Isabel) have been so kind to her. They have made our daycare experience so amazing. Unfortunately we were not selected in the lottery to continue with Baby Steps for 3K and we’re so sad to leave! You and your team have honestly set a very high standard for us and I don’t know if our new daycare will be able to meet them! We are on the waitlist for the Forest Hills location (number 14) so if a spot ever opens up (even at the Rego Park location), please keep us in mind! We would love to come back to Baby Steps!
